I got a new friend now
Don’t know, but I hope it is for real
But somehow I really doubt
Cause she comes and goes
Can never know for sure

She arrives when I’m alone
She has beautiful plans and I am always strong
And she makes me sweet and young
But when somebody else comes
She doesn’t want to come along

But she never shows up and what kind of friend is that
